“Dungeon Defenders 2” is making its way to Playstation 4 this month.
The game has been available on Early Access on Steam since last December, but the game is reportedly still in its development phase. According to Engadget, “Dungeon Defenders 2” will be free when it launches as a full game on Playstation 4.
However, for those who are too excited to play the game will be able to get to play starting next week. There will be a pre-alpha version available for purchase on PS4 in three packages with different prices: $15, $25 and $75. These three different packages offer different goodies depending on the packages that were purchased.
“Dungeon Defenders 2” is an action tower defense roleplaying game where gamers can choose among four different heroes to play the game. Players can be a Squire (Tanky Warrior), a Huntress (Rogue Trapper), an Apprentice (Ranged Spellcaster) or a Monk (Support Brawler).
The main objective of the players is to protect the crystals and save Etheria. The description on the Official Site reads, “The Old Ones’ armies have invaded and it’s up to you and your friends to push them back! Create a team of heroes to defend the Eternia Crystals, then jump into the action yourself to finish them off!”
It continues, “Level up, collect loot, and more on your quest to defeat the Old Ones and save Etheria. Play by yourself or with up to three friends in 4-player online co-op.”
Those who are interested in signing up for the open alpha will be able to by going to the Dungeon Defenders Official Site.
