Fast & Furious 8 Movie Casting News: The death of "Fast and Furious" star Paul Walker shocked fans and costars, who weren't sure whether to carry on with the series without the generous and talented star,. left the fans heartbroken. New reports say that the plot for the upcoming "Fast and Furious 8" movie Walker's idea and the film will be "true to Paul's wishes."
Michelle Rodriguez told People magazine that Fast And Furious 8 will be a tribute to the late actor.
"[Paul] wanted to bring it back down to the core, which is the racing," Rodriguez told People at the UNITAS Gala Against Sex Trafficking that in New York City on Tuesday. "He was always complaining about the special effects and the blue screens."
Rodriguez said that Walker wanted to pull back on the "exaggerated explosions and crazy plot lines."
"I think that's what Vin [Diesel] meant when [he said] his main focus on the next one will be trying to keep it true to that car audience," Rodriguez said.
Rodriguez also said she would like to have more female co-stars.
 "It's a sausage factory on those sets. We could use a little feminine energy to balance it out!" she told People.
Rodriguez told People that "Fast and Furious 8" without Paul Walker would be "bigger than ever."
Paul Walker's 16-year old daughter, Meadow took to Instagram to announcedthe launch of "The Paul Walker" foundation which aims to provide grants as well as scholarships to "researchers in the field of marine biology."
"I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world," Meadow Walker captioned the announcement, under a photo of her father.
The remaining cast will reportedly reprise their roles. Vin Diesel, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson,  Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Jason Statham   are all confirmed to return in the next Fast & Furious.
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, who played CIA Agent Luke Hobbs, is currently in talks to make a spin off the movie.
Vin Diesel recently confirmed that the next installment of Fast And Furious is in development. The next movie will be set in New York.   Paul Walker played Brian O'Connor in the first 7 "Fast & Furious" movies and the rumors say Paul's brother Cody will take over the gig.
