Ronda Rousey has been kicking up all sorts of dust for her next fight. Not only did she call Flyod Mayweather “boring”, she also dubbed herself as the “highest paid fighter” in UFC.
Since she has gotten so popular, Ronda now gets to call the shots!
According to TMZ, “Ronda Rousey says Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s finally getting what he deserves -- fans turning their backs on him in droves because he's just too damn boring in the ring.”
She used some data from his last fight against Berto, which only drew “about 500k PPV customers -- the lowest number Floyd's pulled in 10 years.”
To put herself in comparison, according to Fox Sports, Ronda Rousey declared just how popular and skilled she is. She said, "I think how much you get paid should have something to do with how much you bring in. I'm the highest paid fighter not because Dana (White) and Lorenzo (Fertitta) wanted to do something nice for the ladies.”
The fact is, she isn’t just popular in the ring - she has become a sort of a feminist star outside the UFC world as well. According to Entertainment Weekly, “Just before Beyoncé performed “Diva,” [at Budweiser Made in America festival[ the 34-year-old singer played MMA fighter Ronda Rousey’s famed “do-nothing bitch” speech.”
All this exposure is sure to propel Ronda’s next fight against Holly Holm in terms of money and views.
Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey is busy working herself up for the next flight against Holly Holm. Which mean that the MMA champion had to delay her Captain Marvel dreams to continue on her undefeated streak.
According to For the Win, “Undefeated UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was originally scheduled to fight former boxer Holly Holm at UFC 195 in January, but UFC president Dana White announced Friday that the bout has been moved to November 14th in Australia.”
Seeing how Ronda Rousey is boasting 12-0 record, Holly Holm better bring a strong fight to even contend with “Rowdy”.
Do you think Floyd Mayweather will respond to her diss before her next fight?
