Rookie actor Son Beom Joon has been cast for KBS2TV’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Cheer Up!” starring A Pink‘s Jung Eunji and VIXX‘s N.
The news was confirmed by his agency Widmay on October 1. “Cheer Up!” will mark Son Beom Joon’s second time to act in a drama following his acting debut through tvN’s “Basketball” in 2013. The rising star first received attention for his handsome looks and solid singing skills while competing on Mnet’s “Superstar K4.” He recently signed with Widmay, home to stars like Hong Jong Hyun and Lee Ki Woo, to pursue a career in acting.
Son Beom Joon will take on the role of Seung Woo, a talented dancer who represents the school’s leading dance team. His character is said to be a close with Kang Yeon Du, played by Jung Eunji.
Meanwhile, “Cheer Up!” is set to premiere on October 5 at 10 P.M. (KST).
