Kate Gosselin's former boyfriend allegedly thought their relationship was real. According to a report from TMZ, Jeff Prescott dumped the TV star after he found out that he was only being used for a TV show.
Insiders revealed that Kate Gosselin's former boyfriend took their relationship seriously. However, the millionaire COO eventually found out that the TV star only wants him to be seen as her new love interest in the reality show "Kate Plus Eight."
Jeff Prescott initially said yes to appearing on the show, but changed his mind after figuring out that their relationship was allegedly all for show. The series "Kate Plus Eight" features the 40-year-old single mother with her eight children, namely her 14-year-old twins Mady and Cara and 11-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Leah, Alexis and Hannah.
Entertainment Tonight previously reported about how Kate Gosselin was dumped by her boyfriend after eight months of dating.
Jeff Prescott has now allegedly moved on from the breakup with the help of a 26-year-old woman from Belarus. The 52-year-old co-founder of microstock photography agency Dreamstime.com reportedly met the blond beauty during one of his business trips.
The breakup of Kate Gosselin and Jeff Prescott came amid rumors that they were reportedly ready to get married. According to Ok Magazine, the reality star even received an engagement ring from the hotshot entrepreneur.
However, Kate Gosselin explained that the new ring she was photographed wearing earlier this year was her gift to herself.
"[I] loved the ring so I put it on myself [for] my [birthday]," she tweeted.
Last summer, In Touch Weekly reported about how Kate Gosselin's kids are the ones encouraging her to date.
"I would love to date...I would love for the kids to have that male role model," she said.
Kate Gosselin and her children first became famous because of their former TLC hit show, "Jon and Kate Plus Eight." The series followed their lives back when the infamous TV mom was still married to her ex-husband, Jon Gosselin. The two parted ways a few years ago.
