The 24-year-old British pop star and budding actress reportedly wants to write a song about her split with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris as part of Rita Ora's new album.
"If it means something to me, I'd rather say it through a song," Rita Ora told The Sun, through Metro UK. "I sit there and brainstorm and keep a diary too. I look back on moments that meant something to me, to provoke some sort of message I want to communicate along the way."
Rita Ora and Calvin Harris split in October last year. Back the, the "Summer" DJ took to Twitter to confirm their breakup.
The former couple's controversial breakup even went on an overdrive when the DJ banned Rita Ora from performing the song "I Will Never Let You Down." The said song was written by Taylor Swift's current boyfriend for the "X Factor" judge when they were still together, Inquisitr said in a report.
Calvin Harris is now dating "Wildest Dreams" hit maker Taylor Swift while Rita Ora is rumored to be dating Zayn Malik.
Meanwhile, Rita Ora's musical career is booming these days after her collaboration with Chris Brown for the hit single "Body on Me."
While promoting her new single, the "Poison" singer is looking forward to filming the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel.
According to a report from Just Jared, the "X Factor" judge is now excited for her role in "Fifty Shades Darker," which is set to be released in 2017.
"Basically, I love all three books and for all fans that have read 'Fifty Shades of Grey' part two, they know it's going to be a massive growth," she told Billboard. "I'm so happy to be a part of this franchise and this transformation of...imagination of sex."
The "How We Do" singer plays the role of Mia Grey, the sister of Christian Grey, in the hit romantic movie.
